Valentine’s Salsa Social
The community needed a Valentine’s experience that felt interactive and inclusive rather than centered only on couples. The goal was to create a lively social event where residents could participate, meet neighbors, and celebrate together.

I developed a Valentine’s Day salsa class and social experience that combined guided entertainment, themed refreshments, desserts, and partner involvement. The event was designed to feel festive and welcoming while giving residents an activity they could actively enjoy.Role

I developed the event concept and managed the creative, promotional, and logistical elements required to bring the experience together.Coordination
I coordinated the salsa instructor, event timing, resident RSVPs, promotional communications, themed cocktails, dessert arrangements, partner participation, setup, and on-site event flow. I also created and managed resident-facing communications, including attendance confirmations.
Results
The event created an energetic and interactive environment that encouraged residents to participate rather than simply attend. It demonstrated my ability to turn a seasonal occasion into an inclusive community experience through entertainment, hospitality, and thoughtful planning.
